I booked this camp through Real Africa, their service (Paul Hickey-Fry) was faultless. Travel arrangements worked without a hitch. We were welcomed by our driver Jacob and spotter Charles. I would ask for them by name if you go because they seem to be able to find all of the game and get you into a good position for photos.... More

We spent 3 nights at this fantastic camp. I was sick on the day of arrival (jumping with the Masais didn't help), but the staff got me back on track with a bitter/club soda cocktail and plain rice, so that I could enjoy the rest of the stay and all the fantastic safaris. Our safari guides, Jacob and Francis, were... More

My husband and I stayed at Karen Blixen for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. The sleeping tents are tastefully designed and have plenty of room to move around and are very private. I loved the outdoor shower. Beds were comfortable and turn-down service included hot water bottle in the bed to warm them up. I loved that... More

We had such a fantastic 2 night stay at KB. The staff were all very welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious. The tents were very nice with lovely outdoor showers. The view of the hippos in the river was just breathtaking. We went on 4 fantastic game drives and our guides were fantastic- very informative.

We spent three days at the camp. Our party included 7 family members ages 6 - 48 years. The accomodations were excellent, comfortable yet simple and "green." The food was great and dining options were fexible to accomodate special child and gluten free requets. We saw MANY animals and our guides were impeccable - knowlegeable, flexible and friendly with excellent... More

The journey was the reward at the Karen Blixen Camp. We stayed for two nights in late September at the height of the Wildebeest Migration as part of our honeymoon. Our time was shot and we considered not going to the Masai Mara given the remoteness of the region, and instead spend more time in other areas of Kenya. However... More

This was perfect for a chilled couple of days. The staff were brilliant. On the first day we saw four leopards! Three on the riverbank oppo the camp. The rooms were really comfortable and the decor was stunning. Service was fantastic all round and the hosts couldn't do enough. I would return tomorrow if I could

Doesnt get much better than this. The setting is unreal, in possibly the greatest destination on earth for wildlife lovers. "Camp" doesnt really do it justice as its very much a luxury experience as is so often the case in the Mara. The food really stood out as well, a very varied offering but all delicious. We were there with... More

We stayed at Karen Blixen Camp for 2 nights at the beginning of October. It was the first of four camps we stayed in on a wonderful Flying Safari organised by Imagine Africa. (www.imagineafrica.co.uk) and it did not disappoint. The location is superb and the accomodation excellent. The luxury tents are spacious and very comfortable, with huge verandahs The staff... More
