An excellent choice of hotel when staying in Lamu Town. An oasis with terraces and greenery. We have lived here for over 2 weeks and it felt very familiar. Very reasonably priced.

A great architectonically interesting house in the middle of the maze of Lamu town. Different size rooms that are nicely decorated but starting to be little shabby. Very lovely place, not quite the jewel of Lamu that it clearly once was as the owner belives it still to be. Just a little tired in the details (bathroom taps, rattling fans, lamest breakfast ever) but still incredibly friendly, clean and overall charming. Lamu itself is just fantastic.

I would highly recommend this marvelous Lamu hotel to anyone especially families. We stayed there over Christmas and New Year 2010-2011 and it was 5* all round.
