Stayed here for 4 days for a meeting. Rooms were nice and light, they face outwards, which is nice instead of being inside on a corridor. Good location and surrounded by gardens. Decent breakfast selection and good gym.

I especially enjoyed the Aroma Therapy, Gym and Swimming pool. The staff were friendly and the service good except with one or two of their recent hires. Conveniently near the city centre and not far from the airports, Wilson A/port and JKIA.
I was in Nairobi and stayed 3nights at Jacaranda Hotel. As others says, location is so convenient and it is in center of business distinct. Depending on the timing and your room location, you get good or bad WIFI. While I had no connection, my colleague staying at other wing got a good connection... Room is quite spacy and carrying...

The basics of the hotel are in place: the rooms are clean and reasonably comfortable, the staff are helpful (when asked), and nearby there are a few good dining options.
However, given the competition next door (the Sankara Hotel http://www.sankara.com/) I wonder why the hotel does not make more of an effort, especially on the food front. Unless you are...

The hotel is nice, comparing to other hotels in Kenya. I was in few days business trip. I enjoyed the location of the hotel, close to the center and the breakfast especially was very rich with many varieties and tropical fruits.
Staff were not that friendly, keep you waiting at the reception if you ask for any service, but generally,...

I have stayed several times at the Jacaranda after an over-night flight from the UK, and have found it quite acceptable for a brief stay en route for safari up country. Rooms clean, food traditional buffet which I prefer and service good. Never had time to sample pool. Staff have always been very helpful. I always take advantage of the...

We stayed here for our first night in Kenya before going off on safari and would happily stay here again.
We had a nice evening meal sat on the terrace of the bar by the pool. The pool looked nice but we didn't have time to use it. Breakfast was very plentiful and well presented.
Our room was a standard...

Spent a night at the hotel with my wife and was impressed.
This iscertainly one of the cheaper hotels in Nairobi in its category and we were not disappointed. Its quite scenic for a hotel in the busy Westlands area and we enjoyed our short stay.
Didn't get to taste the dinner coz we were out partying but the breakfast...

Booked this hotel through my office and got a special rate of 189 $ per night (usual rate was more than 250 $)!! If it was up to me, I wouldn’t have paid more than 89 for this hotel. The hotel is really out dated and is in need of serious renovation. The hotel has no lifts and since I...

Stayed at this Hotel for two nights out of necessity as our preferred location was booked. We were charged a premium rate for their most basic room which had no hot water in the shower and the room was very noisy. We were shorted a couple of towels on day two which, on advising house-keeping took several hours to resolve....
