Spent two nights at Ol-Moran on 3 & 4 May 2013 in a standard tent that had a double bed, single bed, private bathroom, tables, power plug and towels. The price was included in the cost of a safari we booked in Nairobi. Plentiful meals provided at breakfast and dinner with a big packed lunch supplied for our full-day game... More

I’m not a fan of camping and when my family announced on the bus that we were staying in tented accommodation my face must have been a picture! However, my fears abated when I realised this is more Glamping, tents with real beds and a plumbed in bathroom. Oh, one thing I would say is pack something to sleep in... More

After teaching in rural Kenya for two months, my colleagues and I decided to end our trip with Safari. We used PrimeTime safaris who set us up with Ol-Moran Tented Camps. It was a beautiful area with amazing amenities. Meals were included and the dining area was superb. We couldn't have asked for better staff and accommodations. I would highly... More

Having recently returned from a 4 night stay at Ol Moran on 7th January we need to share our views and also respond to a scathing review from a previous visitor. Before our visit, we actually took the time to check the Ol Moran website ( lets assume internet is available in Europe) to be clear on the accommodation and... More

A party of 13 of us visited Ol-moran over New Years Eve and couldn't wait for the whole experience to be over. As a party we have been on safari and stayed in numerous other camps and lodges around the area and Ol-moran was the worst camp we have ever been too. This was our first visit to Ol-moran and... After 2 days at Lake Nakuru it was time for Masai Mare. The camp is just a 5 minutes drive from the entrance to the park, it is a small-tented camp but the tent and beds was nice, the bathroom is a small building in connection with the tent, this work all right. The restaurant is not big and the... More

This camp site is truly a wonderful experience of living close to nature but also feeling safe. The service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble and there is a friendly feel to the place. The food was the best food experienced on my whole trip being fresh and tasty. Thankyou for the experience :))

We visited Masai Mara and stayed 2 nights (September 4th and 5th) in Ol Moran tented camp. The first night dinnerbuffet was cold. The staff was serving us in wintercoats. Nice camp, basic tents, good beds, clean place.

This location is a 10 minutes drive from the Masai Mara national park. The camp works with a generator wich means that you only have electricity during the evening hours from 7 till 11 pm and in the morning from 6 or 7 till 9 am. The tents are very basic but clean. The meals are in buffet, you do... More
