We travelled to Cairo for two reasons, the 1st to get married and the 2nd to apply for a visa for my husband. I booked the Invitation Hotel as it appeared to be the only hotel which had good reviews. The hotel is tired and a little cold but to be honest the staff were so lovely and supportive, we... More

My partner and I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel from 16th-20th September. Positives The location is excellent. You can walk to Tahrir Square, Cairo Museum and the Nasser Metro Stop all within 5 minutes. The staff are very friendly and always deal with any requests as best they can. Invitation is a budget hotel in the centre of busy and bustling downtown, Cairo, only a short walk from Talaat Harb street, the Oxford Street of Cairo, the Egyptian Museum, Tahrir Square, the Nile and Groppi's cafe, a tea house that once supplied English royalty in Great Britain. The hotel, on the 6th floor, commands a stunning view of Cairo's... More

No frills hotel, extremely cheap with good accommodation, rooms are spacious, air conditioning good, breakfast was adequate(but don't expect lavishness, you're paying a few quids only). There were only two bathrooms in the whole floor and one of them was closed during our whole stay which caused a bit of inconvenience to us. Situated in the heart of the city... More

I had only planned on staying at Invitation Hotel a few days, but since I couldn't find a suitable room to rent in a flat in Cairo, I ended up staying a whole month. Although not in my initial plans, I am satisfied with the way things turned out. The price is unbeatable for a room with a.c. and private... More

For the low to medium budget traveller the joint operation of the Invitation Hotel and Arabesque Hotel represents superb vale for money in Central Cairo, just round the corner from the National Museum and Tahrir Square. The staff are friendly and professional and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There are some with bathrooms. Current tariff is LE 160 (about... More

My stay in Invitation Hotel was excellent. Located in downtown Cairo, minutes away from the National Museum of Egyptology, close to Tahrir Square and the riverbanks of the Nile, the hotel meets any traveler's reasonable requirements. Rooms have enough space, with sufficient commodities. Bathroom remarcably clean and completely functional. Air conditioner is working well and the only problem I encountered... More
