This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, and I have travelled a lot. Wallpaper peeling , smelly, depressing, non-working elevator, dirty rugs, unsuitable bathroom and so on...!

The Garden City House oozed with atmosphere, the original 1920/30's decor and fittings still being in place - including the most amazing lift! For this we could forgive it's grubbiness.
