This has to be the worst hotel that i have ever stayed in. It is old, dirty and noisy. The food is boring and breakfast is the same every morning. It you want to use the gym you have to pay extra each time you use it L.E 30. Please if you are staying in Cairo choose a different hotel... More

Not a bad hotel, but definitely not a great one. If you are vacationing and not on a budget, skip it. There are plenty of better hotels out there. Worst part was a religious center across the street that will wake you up around 5 am each day.

In our holiday through 4 countries we chose the hotels off tripadvisor, in Egypt we went with a package company and they gave us this one. This place is about the same price as the ones we stayed in in Istanbul and Switzerland but not even 1% as good. The list of problems with it is very, very long: Front... More

We stayed at this hotel which is certainly not a 4 stars, but it was ok. The staff were really friendly and helped to find a driver for us. They went the extra mile there, with a possitive and friendly attitude. It is a very tall building, in front of a Mosque, so you will be awake by them before... More

I'm a college student, but I've been all around the world and stayed in great hotels. Me and my friend visited Cairo early December 2008. We stayed at Maadi Hotel for 5 days. My first impression was "not so bad!!!". We read terrible reviews, so I had very low expectations. If you are a "real" traveler, you'd know that, not... More

We stayed here twice flying in and out of Egypt. Our agent told us it is a 4-star hotel but upon seeing it from outside I knew it wasn't. Our room was decent enough for sleeping, but nothing more. The toilet was terrible, the carpet was dirty, breakfast was the same same same everyday. In fairness to the hotel, here... More

I was highly impressed by the honesty of the room cleaners. I st ayed in room 602 for 6 nights from 6th to 13th July 2008. On 8th July, while rushing to Al Magrabi eye hospital for an eye surgery I left a lot of money on my bed, while the lady cleaner was by the door waiting for my... More

Unfortunately we only spent two nights in this hotel - one at each end of our stay in Egypt. It is a four star hotel -" four star by Egyptian standards", I forwarned our group of travellers from North America, used to expecting better from four stars here. But this charming place did not disappoint. As long as you can... More
