I booked the non smoking room and I smelled the strong smoke smell. I called the front desk and all they did was apologizing and saying smoke smell is coming from downstair. Isn't this 5 star hotel? Also, They have mini bar and when I came back to my room, two of drinks were gone and the room temperature was... More

I was extremely disappointed in my recent stay at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul. We booked 2 rooms on a non-smoking floor, but upon arrival discovered one of the rooms reeked and had obviously been smoked in recently. We immediately asked to switch rooms and the front desk refused to accommodate. Upon arrival back in the US, we tried... More

We stayed in a double deluxe room at the Imperial Palace Hotel for two nights based on a recommendation from someone who lives in Seoul. Here is the breakdown of our experience: 1. Location: Central but still removed from the hustle and bustle of the Gangnam area. The closest coffee shop to the hotel is located 5 minutes away and... More

A good hotel with a fair experience. An older style interior but finished to a good standard. Clean and comfy.

We recently stayed at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul. Its a very grand and opulent hotel with tons of local charm, but the rooms need to be updated. They don't run A/C in the rooms until April of each year so it gets stuffy and when you open the windows to get air, you hear all the traffic down... More

This is my first poor review. We spent last weekend at the Imperial Palace, looking for a spa getaway from Beijing where we are spending a few months. Seoul is a gorgeous, green, clean city and we were happy to make our first trip there. I chose an Expedia package with air and hotel, and chose this particular hotel because... More

5 * hotel with impressive lobby, one of the few in the area. The look is a little too much for Italian standards, but the overall quality of this place is vert good, rooms are big and clean, as are the bathrooms. You can eat at several resturants inside the hotel, if you are not afraid of the bill...

Nice hotel, good food, not very pricy. One subway station nearby. Friendly staff. I recommend it.

The Hotel was booked by Our Principles, but the rooms were very small or can say tiny compared to the rates charged and for the early check in just 2 hours they charged for the full day. In November they say winter has arrived but we felt hot as the AC was not working so they had to give us... More

Not only this place has high price tag, you got to be buying your dental and shaving kit. The room size is small and I will probably never return there ever.
