TLDR: Very close to lots of stuff, but the rooms are dirty. The Full Review: The location of this guesthouse is very good -- very close to the subway, restaurants, Changdeokgung Palace (10 min walk), Bukchon Hakok Village (nice area with some traditional Korean homes and boutique shopping) and the Insadon [tourist-friendly souvenir shopping] area.
