the original hotel that has fantastic view over the city is ok according to my friend who stayed there in 2010, but the other ones are obviously much worse (for the same prices that are rather high for tbilisi anyway).
in the building C, where i stayed this time everything is weary and dark, wrking desk low and far away...

Stayed there for two nights in the beginning and in the end of our georgian trip. And yes there is evidence of dilapidation and wear everywhere. No doubt the hotel like Gergia has known better times. The hotel is nice and the breakfast / restaurant areas have a nice view but my room was close to a monastery that has a barking dog that keeps you awake night and day! I've complained with the reception but they told me they cannot do anything it because they cannot interfere with the monastery! Disappointing and ruined my sleep...
