Stayed in this hotel in Feb and was very pleased with the room and hotel style in general. Very modern and clean with high quality furniture and fittings both in rooms and public areas. Helpful staff as well.

The hotel is an interesting art deco building about 5-6 km from the old town. We actually walked there - a very nice walk but definitely long. The hotel is just not well maintained, cleanliness is questionable, and the beds are lumpy/springs uneven. Mini blinds are bent and dirty. Would not stay here again.

Stayed at VIP Victoria in May and June and enjoyed the stay: rooms are big enough; a homely sitting room at every floor; good restaurants at walking distance. Internet works well. The personnel is friendly. In summer it is nice to sit in the garden as well

For the price, $120 per night, one would expect a lot more. First, the internet worked only very intermittently - which is pretty critical for a hotel that serves largely business clients.
