I strongly strongly strongly (3 times!) recommend Ponto Hotel for all visitors. Although it's small relatively and simply furnished, it's very charming, clean and worthwhile. The staff (Khatuna, Leavani & Niko) are extremely helpful and friendly. They arranged my airport departure and made my life easy in Tbilisi. The location indeed is just 3 minutes stone-throw from Avlabari Metro Station...
