This hotel has recently been renovated and is really worth a visit. I found the staff friendly and helpful, service prompt, and the view of the Shwedagon Pagoda from the room at sunset was by itself enough to justify the stay.

This is a busy city hotel in a beautiful location. Sitting on the lake, with a view of the Shwedagon Pagoda, and parks all round, its location would be hard to beat.
