Initially we were uncertain whether to choose Rock Pool Bungalows from our internet search as the photos did not sell the place to us. However after reading good reviews on Trip Advisor we were sold. My sister and I have just returned from a great 7 days at Rock Pools Bungalows. It is indeed a well-kept secret and we were fortunate enough to have the whole resort to ourselves for most of our stay. The pool was out of order for our stay and it is a long way from town. But we soon got... More

In a word – terrific, but this establishment might not be for everyone! The Rock Pools is a bit far out of town but to many that is one of its’ better assets. If you don’t have your own transport (ie hire car) then you are dependent on Sala or public transport. “What’s a Sala” I hear you say? Well... More

We just spent Easter at Vanuatu's best kept secret - Rock Pools Bungalows. It's a gorgeous little resort of just 5 bungalows, right on the ocean, about 1/2 hour from town. The Ni-Vanuatu Managers, Sala & Lei, went out of their way to tell us all about Vanuatu and show us so many of their native customs. Our first night... More
