The rooms were clean hot water and staff friendly.Washing was free and they provided a basic breakfast as part of the package. Lower your expectations and you will not be too disapointed,what was really bad was the early awakening from the roosters behind the motel from about 3.00 am and the loud music that started about the same time.

Due positive comments found elsewhere on the net, I decided to spent my first day at Mary's Motal in Tarawa. I had to change the room twice due to various reasons. Not value for money but friendly staff. A basic motel but lot to improve. Food moderate.

Pretty standard motel for the Pacific Islands. Clean rooms restaurant is also about average. Seems to be the best of all the motels on Tarawa.
