I´ve stayed several times in this IBIS before, because it was good value for money:
This time, rates are USD 84/night plus breakfast - so we talk about more than USD 90/night which is a lot of money for a hotel in Asuncion.

When you stay at the Ibis you know exactly what you are going to get. This hotel is new, nice beds, and good breakfast. Just across Del Sol Shopping Center. We enjoyed it and relaxed with air-condition. Asunción is really hot in summer 38-40°C can take a toll on anybody. The rates are excellent 79US$ per night (weekdays) and 69US$...

Close to the airport, nice neighborhood. Mall in front is very convenient, you can eat, buy anything you need and exchange money. Rooms are small, there are no luxuries, but it is functional.

Clean, good location, efficient hotel. However, no room service, very limited ( and not very good) food at the bar. No one will help you with your bags or even take your laundry to your room. Reminds me of a motel in rural Scandinavia.
