The staff is wonderful and the beds are comfortable. The showers have gas heat and thus are as hot as you want them, useful in the cool climate of La Paz. Hostel Bacoo has good location. It is within walking distance to the bus station and city center. It can be said that the hotel is three different buildings. Bacoo is fine if you don't give a ****! What initially seemed like a perfectly reasonable inexpensive hostel was ruined by the daily battle to get hot water..the Internet fixed and to get the rooms cleaned.
