Old property, not so nice view on the windows. Nice rooms, nice staff, good food. Excellent location.
We booked this room via booking.com for 1500 SP per night for a double. Very, very cheap in Damascus and it is worth it! Nice, clean room with a good double bed and a great shower. The location is also very good. Near the shopping centre and 15 minute walk from the old city. We had free wifi at the...

Other than the location, there is nothing positive about this hotel. We checked in for 3 nights but left after one. Dead spiders, stained pillow covers, small and dirty. Will recommend to stay away from it.
We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights during our trip to Syria.
The hotel has perfect location just in 10-15 minutes walk from the Old City. There are some restaurants, banks and shops near. In the nearest building there's Russian cultural centre where Russians can buy Russian guide-books and have Internet access.
Rooms are of good size and rather...

It was clean and warm (the latter being vital in Syria in December). It's near main roads and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. Only a 10-15 minute walk...

The hotel has many problems if you compare it to any Western hotel. The staff is incompetent, rooms are not clean, toilet paper, towels, cleaning is sometimes completely forgotten, sometimes there is no hot water, it is noisy, the air conditioning can only be operated with hardware tools, the rooms have a slight smell of sewage etc. etc. The list...
