although the hardware of the hotel is aging; however in terms of software the service was excellent from the management to the frontline staff. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good location just walking distance to Souk Waqif. Good size rooms with large balconies. hOwever might consider putting some day beds on the balconies as the space is not utilise

“Old building, cheap building materials, non-insulated windows, not recommended”

was staying for three nights, ok, the construction site across the street was expected, but the Hotel's windows are far from acceptable. Insulation against heat and noise was zero - hope they have them replaced by double glazed uPVC windows in the future! bathroom needs restoration, definitely!

“Non-smoking room pretty hard to come by”

Reception desk has a variety of staff with different levels of motivation for helping you out. Asked for non-smoking room. Changed two rooms and finally gave up. “Plus: Balconies, Minus: Noise.”

I was booked to this hotel by Qatar Airways for an overnight stay. Rooms are of average size, clean and have a balcony, which is an advantage for a smoker like me. Dear Customer, The difficulty is to manage an hotel next to a site like "Mushreib" under construction , but at least the noise has reduce compare to what it was the past years during demolition time. The project will be delivered by 2016. More
