A few minutes drive from the airport. Near souk. And rooms are impressingly huge.

A few minutes drive from the airport. Near souk. And rooms are impressingly huge.
Stayed here for three nights on a business trip. Pro's: near airport, huge room, okay breakfast. Con's: the terrible service of the employees. It's a bit like Fawlty Towers sometimes. An example: pay in the bar with creditcard and they'll ask you either to walk to the machine (instead of bringing it to you) or ask your PIN-code. Also, when...

Stayed here for a layover on a flight from the US to Asia.
Pluses-Huge, clean room with large king size bed, gigantic marble bathroom with separate shower and tub, good temperature control in room, walkable to Souk Watif, good value. However, It took at least half an hour to check in--the front desk person had trouble locating our reservation. The...

Stayed just one night. Room is enormous as is the bathroom. very comfy bed, clean linens and lots of pillows. Shower was great with good water pressure and adjustable spray head. Bathroom also offered dual vanity and large soaking tub. Only drawbacks were stained carpets and scuffed walls but not so much that i felt the place is unkempt just...

I stayed in this hotel for 1 month as I was relocating to Doha and it gave me a chance to look for suitable accommodation. 1 week in the hotel room (1 of the towers) and 3 weeks in a serviced apartment (the other tower). The only positives are that it's a hotel that serves alcohol (there are many dry...

The Swiss Bel hotel is a fairly good hotel, with its strongest plus in the very spacious room and the fact that it is in walking distance of Souq Waqif and the Corniche. Quick access to taxi/limousine service in the hotell is also something that we found useful.
The absolute proximity of the adjacent Mosque, with its Minaret less than...

The Doha Swiss Bel Hotel is located close to the beautiful corniche (200m), the islamic art museum (300m) and the old souq waqif (700m) which makes it a good place for city adventures. The rooms at the hotel and the appartment tower are spacious but poorly equiped and the service is even worse. Theindian and asian personel has difficulties to...

Stayed at the Swiss Belhotel Doha for three nights in April 2012, my first and last stay at this hotel. I have no complaints about the cleanliness, the location of the hotel is good, and the staff was fairly polite. The rooms are spacious and pretty clean. Unfortunately its not possible to look out the window, as they are completely...

I stayed at this hotel in February 2012 and think the location is very good: just 10 minutes by car from the airport and few minutes walking from the Suq area, the Corniche and the Islamic art Museum. The room was very big and clean and the bathroom too. The forniture was nice. Maybe the lights are not enough and...
