Staff are very helpful, friendly, pleasant and accomodating. Rooms are double the size of a normal 5-star hotel room with a small kitchen (a real advantage) if you want to cook plus tea/cof. facility (with cof., tea, sugar, creamer provided) and a microwave oven what else you would look for? And wi-fi is absolutely free of charge which worked best... More

Helpful staff even when arriving after mid night. Large spacious rooms and an excellent air conditioning unit. Bathrooms small and kitchenette is what it is. Breakfast basic but covers your needs. Internet wifi was free and pretty good. Room service works to some degree and access to the Hyatt is the best part and probably why this place works. Being... More

I was working in Muscat and stayed in the Safari Village 11 times over a twelve month period (not my choice - the client had a corporate rate). The staff are very friendly and try to be helpful. Rooms are large and clean, bathrooms are generally OK but not brilliant. The breakfast is OK but the room is very disappointing.... More

Stayed in Safari apartment for 1 night. Very large rooms with small "kitchen" at the entrance. Rooms are clean but very very tied looking. Bathroom even more tied looking. The use of Grand Hyatt facilities next door is a great bonus. Service is friendly and efficient. Very decent value in Muscat.

Large clean rooms. Excellent location near the beach and the use of the pool next door at The Hyatt is a plus. Staff very helpful. Good for local restaurants, the Turkish, Karjeen, Mumtaz and Left Bank. Internet connection was free but I think that is about to change. My family joined me for part of the trip and enjoyed themselves... More

I have stayed at Safari Village three times on business trips and every time I found the staff very helpful, arranging my taxis to booking restaurants to even finding me an internet cable at midnight so that I could finish my presentation for the next morning. Having access to the sporting facilities and the beautiful pool of the Grand Hyatt... More

We had a volcano induced extended stay at this excellent apartment style hotel. We were given an excellent deal on two room apartment which was great since we ended up there for 12 days. The hotel has an arrangement where guests can use all the facilities of the Grand Hyatt next door. This, and the fact that it is in... More

We enjoyed our stay in Safari Village. The room is large with dining table and chairs, easy chairs and small tables as well as large bed, good wardrobe space, fridge, kitchenette with microwave and hob. Free internet access in the room if you have your own laptop. Good quality kitchen equipment, but no tea towels or washing up liquid. They... More

This is not a five star hotel but offers fair value for money taking into consideration the higher cost of hotels in Oman. It is located next to the Grand Hyatt and as a previous reviewer has said one is able to use the Hyatt pool and fitness centre. The staff are helpful and friendly and the attitude overall is... More

Safari Village is not a 5 star palace with all the trimmings (and matching price). It's an absolute gem! Adjacent to the Grand Hyatt overlooking the beach, Safari Village is comprised of 40 or so rooms/suites. Formerly an annexe of the Grand Hyatt it is now independently run but offers use of Hyatt Pool and leisure facilities in the price!... More
