Firstly, I should say that we were upgraded on arrival to a suite so this review is based on that, rather than on the standard room for which we paid. That aside, we had a really pleasant stay. The hotel has been recently and extensively refurbished and was spotless. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, the bedding crisp and white. And... More

I had a spaceous one bedroom suite for the price of a regular room in the big name hotels. The hotel was clean and looked newly refurbished. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Located in Hamra area, which is the old city center. Plenty of shops and cafes around.

Last November-11, we went to Lebanon for our honeymoon. Our travel agency reserved another hotel, which was very very very bad! so we decided to move to another one. It was our first time in Beirut, we just heard about the Hamra area, so we went there, trying to find another hotel; lucky we, Cavalier was the first to find.... More

Location was excellent. It's in the Hamra area located in a quiet street off the main Hamra road. It's the best of both. Relatively quiet yet 30seconds from all the bars and restaurants. The staff were unbelievably helpful and nice. Nothing was too much of an effort. They always had a smile and catered for all our requests. The manager... More

We'd booked a taxi from the airport to the hotel, but as our flight was 3 hours late the driver had gone. We were left to get our own and it was a bit of a nightmare. When we got to the hotel the first thing they said was 'Oh no, never try and arrange your own taxi from the... More

I stayed in this hotel with my parents in March. We were hosted in the airport by Haisam who is very friendly and cheerful. When we arrived at the hotel, they said that we were upgraded to an executive room! The room was large, well appointed and clean. The bathroom was spacious. The staff is very helpful. Hotel is nice in very good location, just the view from the hotel is not nice and also I was missing some things in the bathroom -hair conditioner, ear sticks e.t.c. It was also a bit noisy, but its normal in this area. Breakfast was ok, just could be more variety.
