Lovely hotel, excellent location (near Hamra Street), busy hotel and great restaurant with friendly staff! Rooms are fine, nice size.

The service environment were very good , I got the feeling of home place during my stays Only if you can improve your internet facility performance I would recommends the Commodore hotel for the visitors, spicily the location close to the down town so you can shop and enjoy around .

The internet is not good and expensive. The location is a bit ordinary. The breakfast buffet is not up to the standard you would expect from a hotel of this class. Everything works otherwise. Saved by the very friendly and helpful front desk.

American University of Beirut is in this district so there are maybe 40-50 pubs around; full of university people. You need to consider an awful traffic if you are going to the new downtown. This hotel is in the Al-Hamra district, which has average shopping but not the best by any means in Beirut. I would actually recommend staying more on the Corniche rather than an Al-Hamra.
