We stayed during a long weekend at hotel serenada. Rooms are clean, stuff is nice. Location is not so near to turistic places, but it is suitable to see Lebanese people.

Very pleased with my stay at the Golden Tulip Serenada Hamra (May 2012 - 6 nights). This is my second time that I stay at this hotel and I was not disappointed. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. The main difference with my previous visit (in May 2011) was the fact that neither...

Well designed rooms with all international standard features. Smell of sewer gas if you turn off AC system with window closed-stayed in two different rooms so this is not limited to a single area. Substantial street noise with window open. Convenient location with lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Helpful staff. Weak breakfast.
Stayed here for four nights on business with American University Beirut. Great location--walk to downtown and Zaitunay Bay, shops/Beirut Souks, restaurants, and university. Ate at BarBar at least three times--excellent and inexpensive food. Try to Fruit juice cocktail--tons of fruits, almonds juice, and topped with labneh and crushed pistachios. Eat with a large spoon for dipping! Also try Istanbul (another...

Hotel is situated on Hamra street, a very safe district, you can go on foot to many of the attractions. Personnel is very calm and nice. Me and my wife stayed only 2 nights, and we highly recommend the hotel.
It looks good from outside only but its totally not recomended, plys the wifi is not free, hot water but not that hot u bearly manage, no sound isolation u can hear the people out side the room, room deco just make u down
Standard rooms (a bit noisy if you open the window) and a decent breakfast with friendly staff. A good choice if you want a nice central hotel that isn’t too expensive. The major down side for me was the roof pool, which is rather small and despite it being full of water, and 25C outside, was closed!
I was at Beirut for business. When I was at the hotel, Hotel staff greeted us warmly. Hotel placed a great location Hamra. Its also very close to Gammayze street also.
Centrally located, and just off Hamra Street, this hotel proved to be comfortable and pleasant, with welcoming reception staff. The Louis XV Décor in the reception area may not be to everybody’s taste, but it is impressive! The rooms are disposed around a central atrium and are well furnished and very clean. The provision of a welcoming fruit plate was...

If you fancy tacky places, this is the place. The lobby is really goldy and rooms are equally of debatable taste! That said the rooms have all the facilities and free internet.
The breakfast was served in the lobby as the restaurant was being refurbished. Some hot dishes but no eggs/omelette, very limited choice and quite bad food quality!
