Affordable place in a decent location about 15-20 min walk to the Mosque of Beirut. Folks working the front desk were friendly and helpful. Rooms are very basic and a bit dingy. It wasn't bad though and given how much you're paying you shouldn't really expect 5-star accommodations. Most of the travelers I met here were younger folks and the... More

I've been very impressed about the dirty I found! hairs on bed (not mine), bathroom dirty (I did not have the brave to took a shower), smells, windows broken, noisy for all the night. And everithing in the room were broken! I was upset and checked out immediately, I did not sleep!

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights as I did not find any better option for the price. Location is good for party lovers. For families, I would suggest to look for something near to Corniche. Breakfast is below average. They should improve it. Wi-fi is available only in the lobby and speed is very slow. Staffs are very friendly... More

The hotel is very well located. The rooms were clean and had all the necessary amenities. Everyone at reception was extremely helpful and nice and was very concerned about making our stay a good one. The starff was incredibly friendly The breakfast is basic and could be better though. The only aspect that was not convenient is all the stairs... More

Port View is centrally located near downtown, in Gemmayze, and the place is wonderful. Our room had a great view and the staff is so incredibly friendly. It was convenient to have wifi access, and the continental breakfasts were greatly appreciated! Overall a really wonderful stay -- I felt very welcomed and the staff seemed genuinely interested in making sure... More

This hotel is really in a great area in Beirut - the centre of Gemayze. I found the staff incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I did find it frustrating that the hotel does not support online booking - having to send a deposit by Western Union seemed a little dated and totally not convenient. My room was a... More

After booking this hotel I read the reviews on here and was a bit concerned. However I found the hotel to be a good choice in the end. The location is excellent (and not hard to find at all, opposite a key landmark, Electricite du Liban building), just a stone's throw from lots of restaurants and nightlife. We were offered... More

This hotel could be described as a step up from a youth hostel, nothing more. We were very dissapointed with our stay. The room was extremely basic, and most of things in it didn't work well. For example, the toilet didn't flush properly, if at all and the smell in our bathroom was awful after not being able to flush... More

This hotel was such a disappointment. You can do better... don't book here unless there are no other options! Plus points 1 - Port View Hotel was well located for the hip Gemmayze neighbourhood and close to plenty of decent bars and restaurants. 2 - Front desk staff gave free wifi access (which apparently they normally charge for). Bad points... More
