The hotel reminds me of an 80's hotel with wood panelling etc. though also has a family feel and a nice atmosphere. Lots of international travellers as well as locals staying here. Swimming pool and spa facilities available - just a shame I never got the opportunity to use them.

breakfast - instant coffee, no fruit, very limited selection. I wouldnt say the location of this hotel is ideal either. Rooms are fine, though we did have the tiniest shower cubicle in the first room, would not be suitable for the larger person. Hotel was part of a group tour.

Was based there 2 nights on trip in, and then trip out of Jordan. It was a lower budget than other hotels, and hence good for a budget hotel. This Hotel is about 30-45minutes from airport (depending on traffic). I found it a good place to rest up prior to a long trip. The reception staff we very helpful and... More

Me & my wife stayed here in W4 Apr '13. It is a good 45 minute drive from the Amman airport. We stayed in a standard room on the 7th floor. The reception is good enough for a hotel of that size. The room was fairly big and oversaw the local neighbourhood. Around the time we stayed, ACs were not... More

Our tour of Jordan started (and ended) at the Al-Fanar but we arrived in Amman two days earlier and stayed in a more central location. We found the Al-Fanar to be just okay. The rooms were decent, spacious and generally clean. The food at the restaurant, mainly the menu items were quite overpriced for what you received and the meals... More

Stayed here three days on business. The service was great and everyone was friendly and helpful on a lot of things. Laundry service is lightening fast and done properly. The breakfast options were not great, unlike the rest of the Middle East. The Internet connectivity was such a challenge and often times I found myself having to sit in the... More

We had a one night stay at this hotel on our way to Palestine. It's a decent hotel with all the facilities one would expect of a hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff were generally able to communicate in English. My only issue is that drinking water is not included with the price of the meal.... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was clean and nicely appointed. The staff were helpful and curious. The breakfasts were ok but quite limited. Other hotels we stayed in in Jordan had better breakfasts. The location of the hotel is on a very busy street not near and restaurants or interesting features in the town.... More

I stayed 1 night in this hotel and it was good for a 3* hotel. The food and room service were GREAT. The gym and pool were really crowded. The location of this hotel is very good, on Queen Rania's St. (aka. Jordanian University St.) and it is not far from the restaurants in Al-Madina Al-Monawwara St. (~1$ in a... More

Stayed here pre and post a Jordan tour as it was our tour groups hotel choice. From reading the reviews I was a bit hesitant about staying here but upon arrival it was better than I expected. The rooms were clean, spacey and the staff were friendly and were happy to recommend good restaurants. Yes it isn't in the centre... More
