My partner in a project I came to Amman for booked me in, and they had a special rate of 62 euros. Even that was too steep, but if I was paying the regular rate of 90 euros, and out of my own pocket, I'd be truly appalled. This hotel was apparently decorated in 1940s -- and nothing's been replaced... More

It has its middle east atmosphere, the bed was comfy, and although the heater seems old, but it working properly. The room is dusty though, so you might want to check it out first and ask for the cleaning service to vacuum the room first. But overall it was a nice stay. The breakfast was international style. No problem with... More

The hotel is fine with an old style. Staff are very helpful. The rooms are clean. The food is especially rich and with classic oriental style. The hotel is quiet. It is far from the downtown area but Amman is a small city and taxis are not expensive. I liked the stay there very much.

I only decided to give this review because I read many negative ones in the hotel's profile on Tripadvisor and I did not think they do justice to it. While it may be true that the hotel is quite far from downtown, other than that, it was excellent: nice furniture, clean, quiet and helpful service. The breakfast was rich in... More

YOU DON'T WANT TO GO THERE, BELIEVE ME! Filthy, ...yes filthy hotel. I checked in to find the toilet in my room DIRTY. NOT cleaned NOR sanitized. I called the room service so they come and see the feces themselves.! Later on, when I was unpacking, I found a cockroach in the closet. I repacked, payed for 1 day and... More

Despite benadryl and zyrtec, I sneezed all night. TV didn't work but I didn't want to touch it anyway b/c it was so dusty. The room was so stuffed with ancient furniture that you can't even put your suitcase anywhere. Stay elsewhere.

I only stayed one night in this hotel and have mixed feelings about my stay. The lobby is big but dark with red lighting giving an aura of a victorian bordello (which really isn't that bad). The receptionists were nice enough to upgrade me to what they called a honeymoon room (not suite). The room was quite big with a... More

I just got back from this hotel and found it o.k. Service was pleasant though everyone seems to be in a state of confusion. This is a tourist/business hotel and the mixture clashes with Middle Eastern men in business suits or traditional clothing and tacky tourists in shorts.Check out takes forever with only one person handling the cash. As a... More

This is a nice hotel and the service is good. For $60 per night, it is great value. However... When I checked in to stay one night I presented a credit card. I have a low limit on my credit card lest it be stolen or lost. There was several hundered dollars available, plenty to do all I wanted in... More
