We learnt that you need to plan for weekend in Tel Aviv and given the price increase of all hotels, settled for this boutique hotel set up in a old Bau Haus cinema. The place is great, and overall experience very nice with a wonderful breakfast and a nice attention to offer a dring to guests during the late afternoon... More

We just completed a 7 day/night stay at this hotel on a recent stay in Tel Aviv. We were so impressed that they not only remembered us but saved the same room for us that we stayed in last time (and were very happy with) without our even asking for it! As usual, all staff were helpful and kind at... More

Stayed there around 6 times in the past 5 years. Overall experience is good. The only thing is that most hotel in Israel does not give drinking water, even on the day of check-in.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well-situated for getting round and about. Breakfast was excellent - something to please all tastes. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend the hotel to friends. The complimentary snacks in the afternoon were a nice touch.

The House is fantastic and very beautiful! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, also with perfect suggestions for dinner on two different evenings... The recommendations were exactly what we hoped for. The Room was small but the details were very funny, perfectly fitting the old Cinema... Nice and clean and well thought... On the Roofterrace you get free drink and... More

Out of our trip to Israel this was the best hotel we stayed in, not because it had the most luxury but because it had the friendliest was accommodating staff and small free little bits that made are stay so much more... I really liked this place. It was fun sitting out on the Bauhaus porch and looking out over Dizengoff Circle where I saw Hare Krishna dancers as well as Chabad workers asking men to put on tefilin. The building has been lovingly restored from the former Esther Cinema and is now a movie museum of sorts with posters and old... More

Dear Howard: It sounds like you had a great time in Tel Aviv, and took advantage of our wonderful location right in the heart of the city. Dizengoff is one of the main streets in Tel Aviv and along with everything you mentioned also has some unique boutiques which definitely deserve a peek. You’re right when you say that burekas...
