My partner and I stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable however the reception and the front desk staff were a nightmare. We witnessed the staff asking people to rate them promising them gifts and money off in the fulfillment of the ratings. It was clear they were asking for positive comments... More

I'm an American living in Israel, and my Israeli boyfriend and I had a "staycation" at the Leonardo Basil. The rooms are comfortable and the guest service is excellent. Parts of the hotel are renovated (rooms, lobby, dinning room), and some badly need renovating (pool, hallways, elevator). The included breakfast is varied but a little bland. This hotel is quite... I want to reccomend this hotel to future travellers. This has been my second visit to the hotel and just want to say, that there is nothing that beets the service the hotel offers. I had a problem with the networks and the laptop not talking to each other, out comes the manager and a while later all is working.... More

Thankfully the lobby was nice and the food at the bar was satisfying-we had two dinners, so we spent some time there. If you don't have... More

The building façade isn't a welcoming view, but its interiors make of it almost a boutique hotel. The breakfast is awesome! Its one block away from the beach (my room had a view to the Mediterranean Sea), and a good one.

We spent the first two nights in Israel at this hotel chosen by our travel agent. The location was great, right across from the beach. The room was very snug and I have no idea how a larger person would use the bathroom as it was tricky enough for us. The bed is two small beds pushed together. The hotel... More
