5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 May 2013 NEW

We stayed three nights in April. We reserved a room with balcony, but were upgraded to a suite with balcony; a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is on a quiet street, but near many of the important older neighborhoods and sites of Tel Aviv. It is also not too far a walk from Jerusalem Beach (about 20 to 25 minutes).... More

Located next to the most hip and expensive neighborhoods in Tel Aviv, The Diaghilev is an amazing find for the seasoned traveller. It's location is magnificent -- close to everything of interest in Tel Aviv. The staff is amazing -- far better than any staff in a 5 Star mega hotel. And the rooms by Israeli standards are huge, since... More

This was our second stay at the Diaghilev.we were warmly welcomed by Anat and Karen , and felt at home immediately. I am a very light sleeper, and was disturbed by the air conditioning unit from the building next door. We were moved the following day without any fuss to another room where I slept like a log! The hotel... More

Very friendly and helpful and fun staff. Best possible location, right next to Rothschild boulevard. The room felt cold and not cozy, did not make me feel at home. Same with the lobby. The bathroom was very small. Breakfast is not served here but at the sister hotel "Rothschild" 5 min walk away. Absolutely delicious. The rooms there are also... More

Great hotel and great service...I was lodged at this hotel 2 years ago and decided to repeat. After this period of time, nothing has changed, and everything remains the same, included the quality. Big and comfortable rooms, everything impeccably clean as a whistle, as it was before. Main reason to stay here again was mainly because the location (nearby Rotchild... More

This hotel was located in a residential neighborhood that resembled Greenwich Village. Lots of small moderately priced restaurants in the area. Public bus close by to all areas. Small groceries allowed us to shop for breakfast food. Our suite consisted of a living room with equipped kitchen, no stove or microwave, a small sparsely furnished bedroom, private bath and a... We took the Diaghilev hotel based on its amazing tripadvisor rating, and we therefore had high expectations. The hotel proved actually above these expectations on all aspects. Let me first state that the service was outstanding: the personnel is extremely nice and helpful. They always offer drinks, cava, and we even had a complimentary bottle of cava in the room.... More

we stayed at the hotel because we found a very good deal on the Internet, but if I had to pay the 'normal' price (340$), I would have been extremely disappointed. I agree what other travellers said in their reviews: this is an office building which has been turned into a 'boutique' hotel by placing some 'works of art' in... More

Dear rachele78, We were very happy to accommodate you in our hotel, but were saddened by your review, since it is based on hypothesis - what if the rate would have been 340$ per night. As you might remember, the rate you paid per night was almost 50% lower, therefore we find it incorrect to judge about the value of... More

There are many good restaurants not far away from the hotel, bauhaus buildings and Rothschild boulevard 3 minutes walking. Team at reception desk is helpful and friendly kind. The art presented during our stay was very well balanced with the place itself.

This hotel was a disappointment. From the web-site to reality, I could not have been more disappointed. Yes, the rooms are big, but they are so cheaply made up, that this hotel simply does not deserve more than 3 stars. A boutique hotel? Rather a cheap feeling hotel. Price for what you get is absurd.....
