Stayed here with a group- hotel was old- looking and smelled from the outside. The rooms are small and the TVs didn't work. It's difficult to get up and down in the hotel due to old, small elevators. The food was fine, but by no means delicious. The staff was helpful, but not overly so. The best (possibly only) great... More

This is the worst hotel ever, and it rates more as a motel. I was bitten by mosquitoes each night and had ten bites on each leg. The decor is from the 1970s and the rooms have dirty sheets. The only plus is the location, but I would avoid this place at all costs.

We went to the Kikar Zion hotel to stay there for 3 nights. Our first impression was'nt so good, because even our taxi driver couldn't find the main entrance! Because there wasn't any!!! The only door was on the back next to a garage, and there was a small door which was locked. Finally we realized that there was a... More

This hotel was a horror. The common parts and the rooms are old and dirty, only one chaine of television working, the breakfast and the dining room are depressing. To avoid at all costs. Only the staff and the nearness of the old town could justify this hotel but it is expensively paid!

This hotel has the perfect location for Jerusalem. Literally everything is walking distance. Only issue is the decor is a bit old fashioned, the sheets weren't very clean when we arrived and the reception staff are a bit rude. Also on a Saturday night the clubs are nearby so it's hard to sleep with the music blaring out loud. The... More

If you can actually find other place to stay, please do. Very old facility. Furnitures as well. The radio attached with the bed's headboard made me reminisce the old times coz' those are the same thing my grandpa have from the days.

You chooose this hotel for the fantastic location. Ten minutes from the old city. You walk in one direction and you see dancing religious me from the 19th century.. Another direction and it is the twenty first century with hiphop and loud music. The contradiction of Jerusalem. A disgusring breakfast with rotten eggs and old bread. But if you ask... More

I am a journalist who stayed in this hotel while covering the Israeli Disengagement from Gaza. Though the hotel was starting to undergo renovations while I was there, nevertheless I found the staff courteous, helpful, the rooms clean and quiet and the price was very reasonable. The location of the hotel, and it's towering height, made it perfect for my... More

The hotel is modestly priced and in a great location. My only problem with the hotel is that our room had no window, it was in interior room that was attached to another room that had a window. It was sort of a two bedroom suite, sleeps four, two in each room. There was a group of four of us,... More
