We only used this hotel for one night since we were coming from the airport at 3:00 am and just wanted to rest for a few hours before checking into our regular (and much more expensive) hotel the next day. This hostel is average located .The location for the "day" is good , near from the old city but At night the streets are empty and far of any sort of "nightlife" which is normally weak in Jerusalem. Even though I live only a couple of hours drive from Jerusalem, I like to stay overnight when I visit. Staying in a dorm in the Rabin Hostel provides me with adequate accomodation for little money. Clean, spacious, good food, location excellent for visiting by foot the main museums in Jerusalem: Science, Bible Lands, Israel and Shrine of the Book. Near Botanics Garden.
