Well located but unequal staff and only acceptable room. - right in the centre of new town. closed to coffee and restaurants - some staff very useful, some suggesting your are disturbing them - room overall clean but bathroom fixture look already 10 years old even in newly refurbished rooms

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights during the latter part of Passover and the Orthodox easter. this made it a little more expensive and I would consider the cost to be a bit high from a North American Standpoint but it was still one of the better deals we found during this time. we booked a double... Best location in Jerusalem. Two minutes walk to buses and all public transport. Ben Yehuda Street just 1 minutes walk away, enjoy the night life, restaurants, shopping, pubs etc. Wonderful Israeli family run the hotel. I travel to Israel a lot and I have been staying at the Palatin past seven years. Wonderful breakfast. Have a good trip.

This hotel was in a great location for a great price. The room was not much bigger than the bed, but I don't spend much time in the hotel room when I travel. And the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was basic, but everything was in good working condition. The evening desk clerk was fantastic: helpful, charming, amusing; great... More

This hotel is definitely a good choice for active tourists, who prefer to be on the hot spot of every place. 1 min away from famous hangout streets, 10 min away from the Old City (u can also take a tram). Small but clean rooms with good shower and comfortable beds. Staff is EXTREMELY welcoming and proactive - helped out... More

You cannot expect a bargain price in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. For the price paid I expected a budget experience and that's what I got. We received a small room on the 2nd floor, which opposite the ones at the 1st floor, was not renovated. The room was extremely basic and in a pretty run down condition, i.e. paint was... More

We arrived in the early hours of a cold and wet morning on 16 March. We did not have a room available until mid-day. The person at the reception was very polite and welcoming, it did everything to make us feel as confortable as possible. We got a room sooner than expected. We had a double room on the 2nd... More

I was surprised by the poor condition of the rooms and the services. Good location, but that was it. Rooms are poorly maintained, some mentioned a renovation, but that is something I didn't see. Service was poor: basic, unfriendly and NO often at basic requests. Unlike the rest of Israel, this hotel stayed with the 80's physically and in attitude.... More
