This is not a 4 stars hotel. Probably just 2 stars. Breakfast was the same everyday and had no taste. Wi-Fi didn't work in our room. We had to go to the lobby to use it. The room is large but run down. The first night we only got one small blanket which couldn't even cover my feet. I am... More

The hotel has a lovely intricately decorated interior and a certain old world charm to it. However, the service in general is not particularly good. The three of us booked a three-bed room but were given a suite with a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. We had to ask for an extra... More

Overall this hotel appealed to me. My room was quite large and the cost was very reasonable. At one time the Addar Hotel must have been very elegant so, for the price, I was extremely pleased. A minor inconvenience: if you want to make a cocktail in your room, be prepared to be resourceful. Ice is available nearby if you... More

We stayed at the Addar Hotel for 4 nights. I can say that its location is great, less than a 5 minutes walk to Damascus gate, main entrance to the Old city. Rooms are very spacious. And it's very convenient because it has a small fridge and things to cook. Now the cons: the bathroom was not very clean. The... More

Stayed at Addar in February and March for an extended business trip. The hotel is superb in every aspect except perhaps lack of a bar and swimming pool, but that is compensated for by the variety around hotel. In some respects, its a blessing that the exclusivity of hotel does not make it crowded like large hotels! Great staff, huge... More

We stayed her for 3 nights on our vacation through Israel. The rooms, more suites are spacious and the location is great and convenient to visit the old part of Jerusalem. There are some restaurants nearby which were great for the evenings. It is not a five star hotel, may be 3 start. It is in need of renovation to... More

The suites are spacious and the location is convenient to visit old Jerusalem. That is the best that I can say! The breakfast is exactly the same each day and not very appetising. One of the power sockets was hanging off the wall in our room, we had cooking facilities but hardly any utensils to do it with. We got... More

This place probably hit its peak during the British occupation of Jerusalem about 60 years ago. They should tear it down and rebuild but it ain't gonna happen any time soon, not with the East Jerusalem location and the political situation. The area near the hotel is rundown and there are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby. The hotel is... More

I have stayed in this hotel five times in the past year. The rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable. All rooms have a small kitchen and living area. 10 minutes walk from Damascus gate and it also has nice retaurants nearby and a 24hour super market opposite. The staff are extremely friendly especially Karmel on reception, Mo and Mohommed in... More
