Only 5mn from the Old City, but still in a quiet neighbourood. Rooms (at least mine) would urgely necessit a large refreshment. Wifi didn't work perfectly (I was at the 3rd floor), but the hall at the entrance is so nice that I spent most of my "Internet time" there. Breakfast is average and staff is helpfull. Not a first... The hotel is old and in need of refurbishment but the location is great as is close to Herod gate. the people were friendly. The decor needs upgrading but considering the price it is good value given how expensive other accommodation is.

We arrived early evening on Valentine's day 2013. The shuttle bus dropped us miles from the hotel we then struggled to find it !! . When we arrived at our original hotel The Metrople we had booked and paid for through Expedia. We were informed our room had water damage due to renovation and we were being moved to The... More

My husband, son (then age 6) and I stayed at this Hotel a couple years ago (Christmas 2011). (The dates on trip advisor don't go back that far now, so that's why I checked off April 2012, the earliest choice.) I was just talking about our trip to someone and remembered this place. We really had a lovely stay here... More

The hotel was very close to the old city Jerusalem & it was a 5 minute walk to get to Damascus gate. There were many banks & eating out takeaways on the same street. The room was a good size but very cold. The staff were very polite & helpful. The breakfast was a basic but the hotel was clean... More

The only good thing about this hotel is its closeness to the old city, Rockefeller Museum, Garden Tomb and walkable to the Mount of Olives, City of David and west Jerusalem. There are also numerous Arabic shops and restaurants nearby. Otherwise, not much else is up to modern tourist standards (for westerners at least) and many of their listed features... More

Hallo, I stayed often in Jerusalem and know some of the hotels there.I really did not like the place and also the part where the hotel is. Better pay a bit more and stay in a nicer place. The best thing about the hotel is its location. Less than 5 minutes walk to Damascus gate and near restaurants and shops and a fruit market. Our room was clean with a balcony, which was just perfect. It is situated in the Arab part of the city so it can be a bit noisy with some specific smell, but you... More
