I stayed at Vardar for two nights in November 2011. I was in a room with two twin beds, and not room for much more. The family run pension is very clean in a friendly environment. The elderly couple that runs it speaks very little English, however, their vivacious daughter is fluent and is often around at breakfast time and... More

The Vardar Pension is everything you dream about if you're a low-budget traveller, looking for a cozy and homey accomodation in Selcuk. Rooms are very spartan but have everything you need, includign a small balcon. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace of the building where you can have a nice view over the surronding hills. The family running this... More

This pension is cheap (60TL=25euros), well located, and run by a friendly old couple (the man speaks German). The room is rather small, the bathroom a bit old but there is hot water and the room is quite well maintained. Loads of Japaneses in the hotel, very good simple breakfast on the roof terrace. Try the pides just around the... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful stay recently (October 2011). Seval, the owner, was so helpful to us. Rooms are clean, warm shower, quiet, good breakfast, comfy beds...book it now. More

We booked a private room/shared bathroom Vardar Pension on hostelworld for $40 USD/night for 2 people. We arrived really late, almost 12midnight, but it was easy to find and they were still very accommodating. The room was a bit cramped but it was clean. Hot water is available 24 hours. Our room faced the street so it was a bit... More

We stayed here in Sept.2011. Our 7:30pm train from Izmir Airport arrived in Selcuk about 8:50pm however we had to stand all the way. We walked 5-7 minutes from the train station to the Vardar Family Pension and were greeting by the grandparents who showed us to our room on the 4th floor, (no elevator) but no problem, we were... My first impression of the pension was its family warmth and welcome. Grandmother acts as secretary through her broken mix of languages, grandfather helps out with the excellent local breakfast up on the terrace (included in tariff) and Seval, the owner, is a walking information and travel service. Her aim is to please you and she puts in 100% The... More

Clean and very well located! Nice room for the four of us, a little balcony to dry a little laundry, nice rooftop terrace with friendly service and helpful owners. Easy to get where your going, as it is close to transportation center. We loved the tea garden by the museum. Lots of locals playing , and drinking tea. Soothing and... More

We just stayed for 1 night, but it did the job and was cheap! Location is great, rooms are comfortable, clean, with big shower and air-con. Owners are friendly and serve breakfast on the terrace. We booked last minute on hostelworld, they had the cheapest price. You can park on the street for free outside, although if you stay on... More
