Pros: good location. All city tourist attractions are at walking distance. Bkfast OK with a very pleasant lady manning the show. Helpful staff.
Cons: A/C is permanently at 35/36*C so room becomes a furnace with A/C on. For a boutique hotel no drinking water/bed tea is provided. Noise of trams & vehicles from 7am to midnight very disturbing.

Hi, evryone
I have been together with my wife for the very first time in Instanbul for a citybreak of 3 nights to Amisos Boutique Hotel, recomanded by my travel agent
Location is quite all right but only just taking into consideration the historical sites around Sultanahmet.
The rooms are small ,but cozy and cleaned every day.The only big issue...

The hotel is well placed for walking to most of the major sites and is right next to the tram line for easy access to/from the airport. The rooms are small and the heating seemed to be onl permanently. However, they were clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. A note of caution, the sports bar, the North Shield, which...

We stayed two nights at the begining of july 2011. The hotel is located in a very convenient location (at the heart of the old city, and a walking distence from major attractions). The rooms were small, but nicely decorated and well equipped. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The next door pub is a fine coplimentry to this...

Myself and my wife stayed here in one of the "Blue" rooms for 4 nights. The furniture is unusually retro styled but we liked it.
The staff here were very friendly, helpful and honest (unlike at some of the other hotels we stayed at in Turkey).
The location of the hotel is excellent, right outside a tram stop and within...

Fantastic location, close to good restaurants In the centre of the REAL Istanbul. The rooms were comfortable, clean and practical for our two short stays at the beginning and end of our self - organised tour of Turkey prior to onward travel to Greece.
We are deeply indebted to Mr Ozan, the front desk manager, for his invaluable help and...

Front desk manager Ozan, spoke excellent English and was most helpful. Rooms were not large , but for a central spot close to the TopKapi Palace and Blue Mosque etc it did the job. English sports bar ( various TV screens) next door lively and quite pricey.
