Although the location is great and the room was nice with the exception of mold in the bathroom.. it was one of the noisiest hotels I have ever stayed in. They were doing construction all night long above my head. Pounding and moving furniture. There is also street noise. Others in my group were kept up all night from a...

We stayed twice, for 2 nights each time, at the beginning and end of a tour. The hotel is very well situated, providing easy access to the majority of the main sights in Istanbul.
Rooms vary - our first was rather small, particularly the bathroom, but newly carpeted and decorated, clean and everything functioned. The second was huge, a corner...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for four nights at the beginning of April, 2012. It was very centrally situated. Step out the door, walk a few steps, and you were at the waterfront, tram stop, Spice Bazaar and lots of cafes, shops and restaurants. Still within walking distance were many other attractions for which Istanbul is famous,...

The Legacy Ottoman is ideally located in Istanbul. The Spice Market, waterfront, and train station are a short walk away. Longer walks get you to the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, and Topaki Palace. The food is good, and I had no complaints about service. The lobby is beautiful.
As others have noted, you might want to open the window during...

Seemingly luxurious hotel with very good customer service, sadly let down by a few flaws. I stayed for one night in March 2012 in an atrium room, which was very hot. Unfortunately, the aircon doesn't work during "winter" months so the room was uncomfortable for the duration of my stay. Opening the windows only increased the amount of noise from...

Legacy Ottoman is a beautlful property, well located in Sirkeci, with a wonderful view from the rooftop restaurant and great food. It's very opulent and well done, with high ceilings and antiue furniture. We stayed in a wonderful large suite, the bathtub had a jacuzzi.
The rest of our group was in a regular room. Unfortunately their room was really...

We spent a total of 6 nights here in April 2012 and found this hotel welcoming and classic. The Ottoman style of decoration is sumptuous; carpets and curtains heavy and tasteful. It conveys a feeling of splendour. Staff are welcoming and attentive.
The bedrooms are large and comfortable. It is close to the Galata bridge, in a pleasant shopping street...

I stayed in the Legacy Ottoman in April, when the weather in Istanbul was cool. But the rooms were incredibly hot even with the air-con on (several other colleagues stayed in other rooms in the hotel and had the same problem). It was like a sauna and I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to sleep. There was no...

This nice and luxurious hotel is located very CENTRAL (ca. 100 m) near the city-tram-station Sirkeci; so you`ll find it without searching around, when when you arrive from the airport. All sightseeing-highlights are reacheable in only a few minutes by foot (ca. 10-15 min. in all directions) and although the boat-stations are very nearby. Rooms and service are really more...
