The hotel is in a great location and we walked everywhere. It is very close to the Spice bazaar, the Galata bridge, and the tram line. The other direction takes you to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and the Cistern basillica. Being in such a central location you expect to hear all the hustle and bustle of the bars and... More

Hotel Centrum is a perfectly adequate hotel - nothing special but the location is excellent. It's on a pedestrian street, within easy walking distance of all the main places to visit - the Blue Mosque, Topkapi, the Bazaar and the Bosphorus. Although the hotel bar is rather dark, there is a lovely bright breakfast room on the top floor. The... More

- Communication before the arrival: friendly at some stage and pushy at other stages to use transfer service without providing information (e.g. cost of transfer, waiting time, type of car, hotel internal or external service etc.). - Transfer from airport to hotel: Clients have to wait for 20min to be picked up. Vehicle is not adequate (Renault Traffic to pick... More

I'm now staying in this hotel this week. My organization got a group discount and my room costs EUR 75, normal price is EUR 90. Good - location. Average - service, room is small, basic setup, lower end (2 star in my humble view) breakfast. Poor - value for money, no shuttle service, hotel airport pickup is EUR 30 one... More

The Centrum is situated in the old part of the city among restaurants and shops in a cobble-stoned street near the tram line. We were advised to walk alongside the tram line and it led us to the main tourist sights within minutes. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and it was adequate. The rooftop restaurant had... More

Whereas there are a lot of Istanbul's hotels advertised on the Internet as a great and luxury places to stay, which are totally different in reality (or they don't even exists), this hotel is really great surprise when you take in account money you should pay for it. Hotel is clean and comfortable, supported with politely staff ready to help... More

During my recent visit to Istanbul from 2nd to 5th Oct'11, I stayed in this hotel. The location of hotel is fantastic. It is infact strolling distance from Hagia sofia, , blue mosque, archeological museum, grand bazar etc. The tram stations of Gulhane and Sirkeci are just around on either side. Istanbul being a very free and safe city, you... More

We booked our accommodation for 3 nights through Hassle FreeTravel agency in Canakkale. We arrived at the hotel 1.30am after a very uncomfortable bus journey from Gallipoli. We were expecting a room that the agent had shown us on his computer. We opened the door to 1A, an L Shape hallway (arms length wide) with twin beds and ensuite. It... More

We arrived late night after a long day touring around 10pm and our one night stay had been arranged by a tour company. We are not people who would usually complain about an establishment generally speaking we're flexible and easy going but staff at this hotel were down right rude. As we approached the front desk we could see a... More

A day or two before we were due to arrive, I sent a confirmation email and was quoted a room price of €82 per night,... More
