Our room was clean but a bit cramped with two single beds. The bathroom was also small and a bit frayed but clean however the basin didn't have a plug? There was a bad smell from the, drains at one point. The double glazing kept out the traffic noise. The staff at the attached bar were a bit slack and... More

“Location'price'service:spectra”

We checked in very very quickly by mr.cem and got some inormation from this centlaman.He was very helpfull and speaks good inglish.Price when compare others good and a new cafe downstair was good .just for to day hello to mr.cem and want to thank him.thats all.nice guy.

We chose this hotel after reading the tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. This is a very comfortable hotel in an excellent location with a very helpful staff. What more could you want? Breakfast,room,restaurant,staff.. everything was just great! Hopefully, we will be able to stay at this hotel in the future! Thank you for everything Mr.Ozan.

“Fabulous service, great views and wonderful location”

We stayed at Hotel Spectra in April 2013. On arrival we were warmly greeted, given apple tea and shown to our room. The service from the front desk was excellent and in the breakfast room also. We were there with my son and wife.ıt was a cool locatıon because otel close to every where and also hotel staff specially that pencil artist guy Mr.cem (gem) in english was so nice and helpfull....he gave us(french people:)) helpfull tips and even booked this night show on the boat,, which was good...cem also a chess player on competitive area... I wa staying in this hotel for 5 days and I really enjoyed this hotel and the people working there especially mr Cem Akat who was really kind and helpfull. For sure I'll return to this hotel again and I hardly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Istanbul. Shahab

he reviews are absolutely correct about this hotel. The location is very convenient in the old city and the staff very accomadating to your needs. Costs are reasonable and the included breakfast is very good. You can't go wrong with this choice.
