Stayed here for a weekend.
Location of hotel is pretty central, although the constant miserable traffic in Istanbul, means that a trip to the old city, that should take 20 mins, invariably took 40 mins.
On a very high part of the city and we had a room with a magnificent view of the Bosphorus.

This hotel badly needs a refresh in order to compete with the sort of quality you can get in Istanbul.
It is a standard, bland, business type hotel with nothing special to recommend it apart from the view from the top floor bar and breakfast room.

The Conrad Istanbul is showing its age with some worn carpeting in hall ways and rooms, but the rooms are good size and the bathroom is sparklingly clean. The staff, from reception to waiters, is uniformly pleasant and helpful. And of course there are unbeatable views of the Bosphorus. The Summit and Monet restaurants offer predictible, but good choices.

We moved to this hotel our last night in Istanbul because it was the hotel that was included in our cruise package, and we were excited to try it because of all the great reviews and the price. The views are absolutely amazing, and we loved hanging out at the rooftop bar, but after that the hotel was just so-so....

Rooms and services are great with wonderful amenities for preferred Hilton status. Obama stayed here when in Istanbul. However, not close to attractions so recommend choosing tours with p/u.

I stayed at the Conrad for two nights in May 2012 and really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is elegant but traditional and the service is excellent. I was upgraded by the lovely hotel Manager to a suite as it was my birthday! And I was also given a Happy Birthday cake and a bottle of champagne, excellent service...

We stayed at Conrad for 4 nights. The room was neat and clean and staff was extremely warm.
The view from the 14th floor is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is walking distance from Dolmabache Palace, Nishantasi ( high street shopping), Ortakoy ( excellent eating joints), Taksim Square. Overall a good stay
