This hotel has a recurring problem as reported by other reviewers on Tripadvisor of changing bookings at the last minute. We had booked this hotel in February for stay in May. After making the booking we came across a worrying review on Tripadvisor which mentioned that the hotel manager had changed the booking when the guests arrived at the hotel... More

I cant rate the hotel highly enough. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful and made sure we were comfortable, and made sure the kids were supplied with sweets when we went out on our adventures in the morning. We stayed in a family room, ensuite (2 adults, 2 kids 9 and 5) which was large enough for us not... More

Once we got to stay there, the staff was over-the-top accomodating, our room was exactly right and the basement setting of their sumptuous breakfast seemed a fun throwback to Ottoman times. Sorry to say there's a "however," HOWEVER, when we arrived (after twenty hours of travel) we were told that they had given our room to "a family," as if... More

We had a great few days thanks to the staff that made sure we were comfortable and pleased with the service they had. The room was nice and it looked like it was recently remodeled, Bathroom was always stocked with extra shampoo and soap. Every time we would come back from outside (very cold in February) they would offer us... More

We have just spent a fantastic few days in Istanbul, and this hotel was a very good price. the location is superb for seeing everything in Sultanahmet, and although the street was very busy during the day we found it very quiet at night (the hotel is set on quite a steep hill, so maybe not ok if you are... Spent a lovely couple of days in Istanbul over Christmas in this sweet little hotel. Excellent spread for breakfast and comfortable bed. Incredibly warm and cosy (Istanbul can get cold in winter...) In fact our only negative comment was it was perhaps too warm at night, but our fault as we didn't mention this or try to turn down the... More

This is a nice low-end hotel with lovely staff and a nice buffet breakfast. The room was a little noisy mainly due to the group of German students who kept gathering in the room next to ours. However they were immaculately behaved when asked to keep the noise down. This place is clean, functional and central. It is located down... More

If you want a posh hotel in a posh street then this is not the hotel for you! This is a modernised house with its restaurant in its brick vaulted cellar. It is situated 300m DOWNHILL from the main tramway system (2 tram stops from the Blue Mosque) in the leather-working part of town with its hustle and bustle, bakeries,... More

Very clean warm hotel, staff friendly, professional and efficient. I was visiting my boyfriend and although the first night we had to stay in another hotel around the corner, the next morning we were able to check into Gedik Pasa Konagi. The room was beautiful, however we were on top of the restuarant/breakfast room and were woken up quite early... More

PROS: Bedroom ok, bathroom very nice. Close to Metro & most sites. Breakfast fair. CONS: We booked via Lastminute.com. The facilities listed are often misleading or not true. The hotel lists but does NOT have a lobby bar, the restaurant only offered buffet breakfast -despite the hotels own website stating that this is the 'new tasty spot in Kumkapi', the... More
