I can't really add much to what others had written about this small, but convenient hotel. The bed was comfy, the place was clean albeit a bit drab( main areas)- but maybe that gives it charm? The hotel is in a quiet residential area and there are quite a few cafes, bars within a 10 min walk. I had a... More

This seemed to get good reviews and we booked on this basis. However, it was not my cup of tea. PROS: Comfy bed, 10 mins from airport in taxi, a bit of an area (shoreline, small shops etc) to explore if you are trying to kill time, good wireless. The bedroom itself was fine and spacious. Friendly staff. CONS: The... More

During our travels through Turkey, we had an overnight layover in Istanbul. Because we had seen the city already, we decided to grab a room at an airport hotel. It turns out this is not exactly an airport hotel: It's an old family-run pension where the current owner grew up as a child (his parents ran it back then). He's... More

We had the nicest experience staying at this hotel for one night before our flight. Charming old hotel, with antiques and character. Our room was newly built with a sea view on the third floor. This was the standard room, and we were pleasantly surprised how comfortable and nice it was. High ceilings, wood floor, large and very quiet. The... More

We were looking for a one night stay near the airport and felt that this hotel fitted the bill. I guess for the price I shouldn't have expected much but my heart sank when I saw the room. The "garden" rooms are a line of concrete bunkers built along the walls of a glazed over court yard at the back... More

It's not the easiest hotel to find with all the one way streets in Yesikoy but if you want to stay in a traditional Ottoman house then this is a good option. We had a triple bed room with a balcony and a partial sea view. While the room could do with some redecorating and may not be to everyone's... More

We stayed here for one night during a layover, having already spent a couple weeks in Istanbul and around, and it was a super cute old house in a lovely seaside neighborhood that is also a 5-minute cab ride from the airport. the owner is nice and funny and also speaks great English as he used to live in Chicago.... So I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and I must say I was quite suprised at how nice it was. My coworker had booked this hotel as he has stayed here before and for the price it was amazing. This family business has been around for years and they have really cleaned the place up. The breakfast in... More

We were looking for an "airport hotel" with a bit of charm and good value. We found it! Yesilkoy is the name of a lovely, tree-lined neighborhood just 3 kilometers from the airport. The Yesilkoy Airport Boutique Hotel is in an old house and oozes charm (and a bit of kitsch) as well as providing spacious rooms (ours was plenty... More
