The Zagreb hotel is ideally located within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque and other attractions. Istanbul is a huge city with an estimated population of 12 to 20 million so don't expect the roads to be quiet. The traffic outside the hotel is like an orchestra warming up in the mornings but it is all part of... More

Traffic appalling, couldn't park near hotel but taxi driver very helpful. Had to get porter down to carry our bags up first flight of stairs. Bedroom clean and pleasant, but very small for travellers with lots of luggage. Bathroom very tired, shower leaked over floor. Reception staff all male and a bit 'superior'. We asked for advice on somewhere to... More

No lift from the entrance of the hotel on ground floor to reception on first floor. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was small, but adequate for overnight stay. Breakfast was good and varied. A good walk to main attractions such as Grand Bazzar ,spice market and Blue Mosque. Good restaurants within walking distance.Hawkers congregate around the hotel area selling tee... More

We were there in September 2009 and in October 2011 again - had bed and breakfast. Our room was small, but clean and efficient. The bathroom furnishing was a little bit uncared after 2 years. The staff was still very helpful, polite and good English speaking. Breakfast was delicious and very tasty, not expensive. The hotel is good situated, the... More

I have stayed at Zagreb hotel several times, because it's quite conveniently located and is good value for money. It's within walking distance from Aksaray metro station (unless you have really heavy luggage) and also from the main sights of Sultanahmet. The rooms are small but well-equipped, the breakfast is good and there's also a computer in the lobby for... More

Location - Not in Sultanahmet but in neighboring Aksaray not far from the Layali mosque. Is just up the road from the tram line, so is not bad connection-wise. But if you are in Istanbul to do the Old City, I would recommend the flexibility of staying in Sultanahmet any day over this place. Rooms - Unbelievably cramped. We looked... More

Arrived at the airport and the pick up was 45 minutes late!!!!! The rooms were clean, buffet breakfast was nothing special at all. The beds were the worst beds i've ever slept on, they were like sleeping on concrete. When i booked through there website 3 months prior I asked for a double bed for my self or my partner,... More
