The hotel is located a few minutes walk from major attractions of Istanbul, but it is at the end of an uphill walk, very uncomfortable especially by car. To be honest, the overall design is quite poor, rooms are very small, and the level of cleanliness is low. The elevator is a coffin, dark and without air and Internet access... More

We - a family of 5 members stayed 14 nights at this hotel, which is very central located. The hotel is OK and the staff gave us a good service. The room was OK but was not the biggest. But who comes to a new place and stays at the hotel? ;-) At the hotel´s homepage they show their swimming... More

I stayed in Assos Hotel for 2 nights with my parents when we were both visiting Turkey. I found this place perfectly fine although I agree with the other reviews that it maybe isn't a 4 star hotel. However, the room was nice and clean and we all had enough space. It was a little noisy (people talking and shouting... More

Good hotel, clean and with easy access to the main touristic attractions. Have booked a transfer from the airport, that I was informed the price of 30 euros, in the morning I have called to inform that my flight was delayed and wanted to reconfirm the price so they told me 50 euros...... after a little while they agreeded in... Breakfast: terrible, terrible, terrible!! It's a joke! No fruit, bad yogurt, not even omellete!! Bread is old!! I was shocked!! For any1 considering this!! Pls Dnt!!... More

Overall, this was a good hotel, though I agree not a 4-star. You get what you pay for, so for a low price it was a good deal. There is a spa/hamam in the lower floors, but there was nobody there when we tried to go in. Here are the pros and cons: PROS - Great location - five minute... More

We stayed at the Assos from 12th March to the 19th March, A very claen and friendly hotel, super buffet style breakfast, very central, The Grand Bazzar only 5 minutes away and the Blue Mosque a 15 minute stroll along the main road. About half way down a steep hill , but Istanbul is quite hilly even you walked down... More

Arrived late at night and were shown to our room which appeared to overlook the town, judging by the lights below; come the morning we realised that the lights were on the fishing boats and we overlooked the sea, wow! The Hotel is situated in a slightly shabby area and the 10 minute walk to the main street for trams... More

I had two nights reserved with Assos hotel since February 22, 2010, which I confirmed before leaving with both my travel agent and the hotel itself. Upon arrival at the hotel (around 9 pm), the receptionist informed me that I did not have a room confirmed. The hotel staff then moved us to another hotel, Hotel Malabadi Beyazit, several blocks...
