Just spent three nights at the Hurriyet Hotel - the location is very good for a short sight seeing stay - close to ferries, walking distance to Topkapi, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and Sultanahmi Mosque. Clean double room and good bathroom facilities with lift to second and above floors. Good value for money bed and breakfast: breakfast on the roof... More

Last year I have been in Istanbul and I stayed in this hotel with 2 persons. This was my second visit to Istanbul. We stayed there 5 days (6 nights). We got a small room with 3 bed. It was on 2 rd floor, there was no elevator in this part of building. The room had air condition, but toilet... More

Very bad customer service. If the promise you a room price before arrival would change and they charge you higher then expected. They will say not sure who promised you, specially your arriving at night. Not clean place to stay at all. Smell like smock. Staff with attitude. Really bad... I recommend surrounded hotel. More

Pros: -More than friendly stuff, they are helping you sincerely; they act with me as a touristic guide as well on all my questions and destinations in Istanbul for free. -Great location; medium point between the sea central port (eminonu), the tram station (Sirkeci), and the historical attractions in the old city (sultanahmet), you could go all on foot -Always... We chose Hurriyet based on the location and that did not disappoint us. It is located in a perfect base to cover all the major attractions in the center of Istanbul. The Galata bridge to the blue mosque and Hagia Sophia fall within a 10-20 minutes walking radius, you also get a tram stop very close by. Despite this, the... More

Really nice hotel with small but comfortable rooms. Location of the hotel is excellent - it is so close to the Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia! Breakfasts on the roof are very romantic - you can see the entire city when sun is rising! Bosphorus is amazing! Friendly, helpful and polite personal. Low price and certainly good choice. I... More

For a first time traveler to Istanbul, I had heard so much about the Turkish hospitality that I was prepared to be charmed. And charmed I was at the Hurriyet hotel. I booked into this hotel for a conference and was on an extremely tight budget. So in a sense I got what I paid for. The first room that... More
