During my three-night stay at this hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed the friendly and world-class atmosphere. While I hesitate to label it as the best hotel in Tashkent due to the presence of newer and more modern options, based on my previous experiences, I can confidently say that this hotel caters to every taste and expectation, whether for business or leisure with your family. The staff are well-trained and supportive, the rooms are clean, spacious, and standard, the grounds are beautiful, and the breakfast offers a good variety and high quality. I did find the lunch to be rather expensive, but the room prices are remarkably reasonable and even cheap. I didn't have the opportunity to use the pool, sauna, or gym, so I cannot comment on them. In conclusion, I extend my gratitude to the staff and management and assure them that if I return to Tashkent, hopefully with my family, I would most likely choose this hotel again.

I am disappointed. One reception boy with glasses was completely incompetent. When I called to reception they even could not solve my problem. They said that they would call me back. But they didn’t. Therefore I had to go out of my room. When I was talking to the reception the boy was not able to answer my question and it was easier to him refer to hotel rules this looked lik I was talking to a robot and his manager’s face was furious and they didn’t like my complain. Perhaps they were not ready. What about the room: Room is out-dated. Bathroom really needs a new shower cause water is everywhere after. The floor was covered with unpleasant spot and the furniture as well. Despite these things, they were willing to take money for stay at hotel. Guys, you should solve these problems. Because The International Hotel Tashkent used to be my favorite one. Location is perfect. Housekeeping, swimming pool staff, bartenders and waiters are nice.

This was a lovely hotel which I stayed in on two separate occasions during my recent visit to Uzbekistan (neither stay was long enough)! On my first stay, my room overlooked the TV tower which had a spectacular light display at night. Both times my rooms were spacious with king size beds and were well soundproofed – wi-fi was excellent. There is a handy foreign exchange office behind reception which seemed to be open at all hours. Was only able to access breakfast on one occasion and it was via a delicious breakfast box. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and I was just sorry I never had enough free time to use the pool.

I stayed in the International Hotel in February and enjoyed it very much. The staff were always helpful, courteous, and polite, readily answering any query. The room is large and comfortable, and so quiet. I like that it has an ironing board too. The restaurant, bar, and breakfast brasserie are all good locations for food. The location was good for me too. Easy to grab a taxi, restaurants and cafes close by, and the lake next to the hotel are all good features.

At last the bar has reopened. Pleasant decor, new furniture and carpet. Very comfortable. Wide selection of drinks available, one of the best in Tashkent. Friendly staff. What a pity that smoking is still allowed in most of the bar. At the moment two people are sitting at the bar and lighting up one cigarette after the other! Not healthy for other clients and certainly not healthy for bar staff.

The restaurant in this hotel is unbelievable. The food we ate here was world class.Caviar and quail done beautifully. We ate all we could eat and drink for 60 dollars canadian for 2. Hotel staff are helpful and amazing. The only down side is their spa does not have full staff. We could not get a massage or manicure. The hotel is older and carpets need to be redone. Overall great value for money. Location is good. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

We recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as part of a 10 day trip. We enjoyed the hotel very much overall. We had a larger Comfort Room that overlooked the Japanese garden. The room was spacious, the furniture and fixtures were of very high quality and the beds were very comfortable. There was an excellent pianist playing every night in the lobby and the employees all speak decent English and are very helpful. There were a couple of things that could use improvement: on the first day, we had arrived at lunch time and wanted to order room service. There were no menus in the room. I called down and they said they don't have menus in the room but someone would stop by with a menu. They have only one menu (quite comprehensive) and the employee waits while you decide. For a 5 star hotel, they really should have room service menus in each room. Also, the quality of the provided bathroom toiletries was poor and not upto the standard of the rest of the hotel. We had brought our own, but in a hotel of this caliber, you shouldn't have to do so. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We stopped at the Hyatt on our last night in Uzbekistan for dinner before catching our flight home, and found the lobby to be flashy and nowhere near as comfortable and classy as the International.

This particular hotel was not originally on my choice, but due to skyrocketing prices and limited availability of hotels at period of my visit, I was forced to choose that one. And I didn't regret. Massive hotel building is located close to exhibition palace and also hosts conference center, so it's always busy there. Rooms are really large and of good condition. Good quality breakfast. Didn't try hotel restaurant and bar, so couldn't comment on that. A/C worked properly. Especially liked staff team at the reception - they did all best to accomodate us on early arrival. Positive: reception staff; breakfast; large comfortable rooms Negative: nothing specific to mention Would recommend.
