This is a classy (and when it comes to the pools and bar it is a swanky) hotel several rungs up the ladder from any other establishment in Turkmenistan that could challenge most 5 star hotels in any western city. Great food for breakfast and lunch though a little more flexibility over the dinner menues to cater for dietry requirments... More

Recently stayed here. Positives: Gorgeous rooms, beautiful hotel in general. Excellent spa and pool, gym fine. As a claustrophobic I was very happy to be able to open a window. Service in the hotel was always polite, and the front desk and lobby staff were particularly friendly. I was also grateful for the wifi, which worked most of the time.... More

Lovely big rooms well appointed. Really comfy beds great bathroom n Occitane toilettries. Excellent breakfasts. Very good roof top restaurant in a country not known for its good food with tasty Turkmenistan steaks. Only criticism was very expensive drinks. Definitely recommended. More

The Hotel (the building, it's facilities, the buzCentre and Appartmants) are absolutely 5star+++. Art-deco and oriental rooms, amazing lobby... WIFI... TV in the bathroom, indoor- outdoor pool, SPA etc., super restaurants the roof one providing with prob most spectacular view of the city. Fantastic hotel, full stop. The rates may seem steep in comparison to the 60-100 USD you will see for other hotels, but the Oguzhkent offers some things the other "high end" hotels like the President don't- like free telephone calls (even international) and free internet. Finished with, and Surrounded by so many buildings, in white marble. You can be forgiven for wondering if the supplier, Vietnam, has any more minerals left.
