I stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Dushanbe for more than a month in autumn 2011. I was upgraded to a lovely and spacious suite upon arrival, which was fabulous for a long stay. My room was cleaned every day, but vacuuming and dusting did not occur so regularly. Consequently, I would have to ask a housekeeper to do this... More

The hotel is all you would expect of a 5 star hotel. Excellent impression created by the staff from the moment I arrived to when I left. The service was good and the laundry service was swift and a reasonable proce for a hotel service. The food is to a high standard - the embassy crowd go there for their... More

Stayed in this hotel during late September 2011. The executive room I stayed in was so huge that I had to call reception for help to know the boundary of the room. The confusion was also due to the fact that I could open a door in the living room that lead me to another guest room. On inquiry, I... More

This modern hotel is not up to the standard of similar hotels elsewhere but I guess you cant expect European standards in Tajikistan. They have tried hard with the layout and fittings but the work is shoddy. The basin tap in the bathroom didnt work, a handle on the wardrobe came away in my hand. Little things but it wouldnt... Stayed here for 8 nights. Nothing unusual about the hotel, just like any other plain vanila Hyatt but way over priced. Service was very slow. Breakfast was below average for such a price. No iron. Internet not included and expensive. Away from all activities and I found it very boring. More

I stayed here for 8 nights in July 2011. I was extremely happy with the accommodations...great bed, great bathroom. The spa and exercise area were both excellent. Free breakfast was nice, but be sure to explore the "by order" options that are not readily apparent. Beware following: Internet options are tricky to understand and can be VERY costly (over $30... Overall we are satisfied with our stay. The hotel looks new and everything is still very fresh. Huge room with modern decor and high ceiling; the staff is very professional, attentive and ready to assist. Room service is efficient and food is not bad. Executive lounge is huge but no one is there to serve you. Other drawbacks are dark... More

I stayed here for four days in the thrid week of June and was super impressed. In addition to staying here, my office used it for a small workshop. I travel frequently for business and ave worked on four continents. Not only is the Hyatt Dushanbe superb and comparable to the best elsewhere but it is amazing to find it... More

The Hyatt has changed some since I was there in late 2010. First, the government has ordered a no smoking policy. Thus you can no longer smoke in the lobby, restaurant, or lobby lounge. There were no longer ashtrays in the rooms, but I was not prevented from smoking in my room. The bar opens daily at 1800, and it... More
