“Lovely staff but rooms are shabby and tired”

I was planning on staying here for a month, but eventually I moved to the much more up to date Edelwiess hotel across the road from Epos. The staff were friendly and helpful to accommodate my vegetarian foibles (after the first breakfast was a plate of fried salami). But eventually I left and moved over the road as my room... More

I stay at the Epos Hotel every time I visit Ulaanbaatar (UB), about twice a year. By American standards the hotel is about a two-star hotel with four-star service. If you are looking for a small, clean, safe hotel in UB, I recommend you consider the Epos. It is an older building that is well kept, with high quality staff.... More
